USE CASE: Exploring Hemophilia Treatments

This project compared costs for Hemophilia treatments and support activities around those treatments. The CO APCD provided a source of data for hospitalization costs of patients with hemophilia and other diagnosis to begin looking at outcomes based on site of service and comparative costs associated with different payers and institutions.

Benefit to Colorado: The results of this research could help identify effective treatment and cost-savings opportunities  and has the potential to improve care and lower costs for Coloradans with blood diseases.
