Health services research (HSR) has the power and potential to dramatically improve the health of individuals, families, communities, and entire populations. But the health care landscape is rapidly changing, and HSR must keep pace.

That’s why CIVHC is pleased to lend a voice to the Paradigm Project.

The Paradigm Project is a concerted, collaborative effort convened by AcademyHealth and funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to increase the relevance, timeliness, quality, and impact of HSR. As part of this project, CIVHC’s Stephanie Spriggs will join more than 100 volunteers in a Learning Community that explores real-world issues and rethinks processes, before identifying concrete ideas to test. They’ll seek input along the way by asking a Reactor Panel to provide ad hoc input on a variety of subjects.

The Paradigm Project needs your ideas to be successful in reshaping HSR. If you would like to participate in the Reactor Panel, please sign up on the website. The Panel will not hold in-person meetings; it will seek occasional online feedback. And, if you would like to receive regular updates about the progress of the Paradigm Project, sign up here.

We believe that by working together we can create a more vibrant future for the field. Please help us shape the future of HSR – and of health.
